Dear James Abraham,
I was not planning on writing you a testimony. However, during our telephone conversation, I realized the familiarity of my experience might be helpful to other Christians. I am forty-six years old, and it has been twenty years since I accepted the Lord Jesus into my heart. From that point on Jesus Christ has meant everything to me. I could probably write several pages on how the Lord has blessed my life. I must refrain myself and stick to the exciting news that this letter is about. From the day of my conversion up to eleven days ago I've had very little success in praying with people to receive Jesus. As a pastor, a major concern for me is to see people walk with Jesus. So, most of my observation is from inside the Church looking at Christians and helping them in the process if their spiritual growth. This is a wonderful ministry but it should never replace evangelism. I attended James Abraham's "Soul Winning One to One" Seminar, in Miami. While I was there, the Spirit of God imparted a confidence in me to share Jesus. Your uncomplicated method of evangelism has opened my eyes and my heart to the un-churched. It is amazing how entering into conversation and praying to receive Jesus can be achieved easily even with strangers. Your admonition to ask God for divine appointments makes all the difference in the world. For the first time since my own salvation, I feel able to effectively share the wonderful gospel message to win the lost. I went to the MEA conference just eleven days ago. Since then I have led eleven people to pray to receive Jesus Christ. That averages out to one salvation a day! It is so incredible. I know that I have said it already that the "One To One" and the Seminar was like a breath of fresh air, but it is worth repeating.
